An entrepreneur for twenty years, he has founded several companies. He holds a master's-level degree in New Technologies and Sensory and Motor Disabilities (BAC+5). He teaches video, social media, speaking on camera, technology and artificial intelligence.
His position is that of an observer. He sees the whole picture and connects the dots. He talks to everyone, asks questions, reports back, and holds the information the person in front of him doesn't have. Every profession has its scope: that scope lets professionals excel, and it also limits them. Yvan Keyna works on what the scope leaves out.
His starting point fits in one sentence: people mistreat one another out of ignorance, or because they are hurting, rarely for lack of empathy. He speaks to the grown child who has to look after a parent, because caring for a parent who is getting older begins with educating, advising, inspiring, offering options to and informing their child.
What he understands, he passes on. That is the purpose of his work and of his talks: to give a grown child what they need to understand what is happening, ask the right questions and make informed decisions.
His focus is the bond between a parent and their grown child: creating it, protecting it, strengthening it. He also writes so that the family can put the medical team to work for it, rather than staying in a position of submission. Every case is different, and so is every situation.
He also gives talks, leads workshops for families and runs sessions for professional teams. He speaks to families, to association members and to teams of professionals. He covers two subjects: the relationship between a parent and their grown child, and technology and artificial intelligence applied to supporting a parent.
