Cookies
This page explains what this site stores on your device and how to change your choice at any time.
The Meta pixel
The Meta pixel measures Help! Press ads on Facebook and Instagram. It is on by default and then sets two cookies, “_fbp” and “_fbc”. If you decline, it stops and these two cookies are deleted.
Audience measurement
Traffic to the site is measured with Umami, which sets no cookie and does not track anyone from one site to another. This measurement does not require your consent.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics, installed through Google Tag Manager, measures detailed traffic to the site for Google Ireland Limited. It is on by default and then sets the “_ga” and “_ga_*” cookies, kept for 13 months at most, with a transfer of data outside the European Union covered by the safeguards set out in the European regulation. If you decline, it stops and these cookies are deleted.
Personalized highlights
If you accept, the site keeps in your browser's storage for six months (never in a cookie, under the key “eas-personnalisation”) the days you visited, the book pages you viewed, the profile of the pages you visited and whether you have already left your email, so it can show you a more relevant highlight. If you decline or withdraw your consent, this storage is erased immediately.
How long your choice lasts
Your answer is kept for six months in your browser's storage (not in a cookie), for the whole site. After that, you are asked again.
Change your choice
The button below reopens the consent window. You can accept or decline as many times as you like.

How your choice works
Google Analytics and the Meta pixel load unless you decline them. When you decline, they stop, their cookies are removed from your browser, and the personalization memory is erased. Declining is as simple as accepting, and you can change your mind as often as you like with the button on this page.
Your choice is stored in the browser you are using. If you use another browser or device, or clear your browser data, you will be asked again.
Declining these tools is also how you opt out of the "sharing" of your personal information for advertising under California law. More on this in the Privacy Policy.
Other ways to limit tracking
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.
- Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics: Google Analytics opt-out.
- You can manage the ads you see on Facebook and Instagram in your Meta ad preferences.
- The Digital Advertising Alliance offers a general opt-out tool at optout.aboutads.info.
Blocking cookies does not stop you from using the site.
