For a kid, a first bike of your own tasted like freedom. In 1963, the one every child in the neighborhood dreamed of came out: high handlebars and a long banana seat, big enough to carry a friend. By the end of 1964, this bike and its line made up 70 percent of all bike sales in the country. What was it called?
